About Arch 35 Marketing | Aberdeen Digital Marketing Agency
About Arch 35

An Aberdeen agency
that does
the work.

Founded in 2025, Arch 35 Marketing was built around one idea: that small and medium businesses in Aberdeen deserve better marketing support than they usually get. Honest, practical, and focused on what actually works.

How we started

Built from the ground up.
No shortcuts.

Arch 35 was founded in February 2025 by Darren Cadger with a clear focus: help Aberdeen businesses improve their online visibility through SEO, social media, and digital strategy that makes commercial sense.

The name comes from the 35th architectural arch of the Forth Bridge. Something built to last, engineered properly, and designed to carry weight. That's what we aim to be for the businesses we work with.

We're based in Aberdeen and work primarily with SMEs across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, and Scotland. Our clients include businesses in food service, construction, engineering, coaching, hospitality, and professional services. What they share is a need for marketing that works without the noise.

We're not a large agency. We're a focused team that cares about doing the job properly. Every client gets real attention, not an account manager who delegates everything and disappears.

How we work

What you can expect
working with us

01
Straight talking

We tell you what we find, not what you want to hear. If your current marketing isn't working, we'll say so. If something isn't worth doing, we'll say that too. You hire us for an honest view, not for validation.

02
Clear reporting

Every month you get a plain-English report. What we did, what moved, and what's next. No padding, no vanity metrics, and no reports designed to make us look busy. Results speak for themselves.

03
Realistic expectations

We don't promise page-one rankings in 30 days. We tell you what's achievable, how long it typically takes, and what we'll need from you. We'd rather lose a client early than overpromise and underdeliver.

04
Local knowledge

We understand the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire market. The sectors, the search behaviour, and the competitive landscape. That local context shapes better strategy than a generic agency working from a template.

05
Commercial focus

We measure success by what matters to your business: enquiries, rankings, traffic, and leads. Not likes, impressions, or engagement rate. Every piece of work connects back to a commercial outcome.

06
Genuine relationships

We don't churn clients. We work with businesses we can actually help, stay across their accounts properly, and aim to be part of the team, not just another supplier sending invoices.

The team

Small team.
Big attention to detail.

We're a small, focused group. That's by design. Every client gets real access to the people doing the work, not a chain of account managers.

Common questions

A few things
people usually ask

Who do you typically work with?
We work primarily with SMEs based in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, and Scotland. Our clients tend to be owner-managed businesses looking for a marketing partner they can actually talk to — not a large agency that assigns a junior account manager and sends a monthly PDF.
Do you only work with Aberdeen businesses?
No. While most of our clients are based in the North-east of Scotland, we work with businesses across the UK. A lot of what we do — SEO, content, digital strategy — doesn't require us to be in the same postcode. That said, if you're an Aberdeen business, the local market knowledge is a genuine advantage.
What does a typical engagement look like?
Most clients start with a discovery call, then we put together a clear scope based on what they actually need — not a bloated package. From there it's usually a monthly retainer covering SEO, social media, or both. We keep things flexible and review regularly. No 12-month lock-in by default.
How quickly will I see results from SEO?
Honestly, it depends on your starting point, the competition in your sector, and what needs fixing. For most SMEs, meaningful movement typically shows up within 3–6 months. We'll tell you upfront what we think is realistic for your specific situation. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is either lying or about to get your site penalised.
Are you a one-person operation?
No — Darren leads all strategy and technical SEO, but Serena handles a lot of the content and social media work. Being a small team is a deliberate choice. It means you're not being passed around, and the person who sold you the work is the same person doing it. Bubbles provides moral support.
What's the best way to get started?
Book a free 30-minute discovery call. We'll ask about your business, your current marketing, and what you're trying to achieve. At the end of the call, we'll tell you honestly whether we think we can help — and if so, what that would look like. No obligation, no hard sell.
