Our First University of Aberdeen Student: Angus Lynn
Arch 35 Marketing has reached an exciting new milestone as we welcome our first student placement from the University of Aberdeen: Angus Lynn. This is a big step for us as a growing Aberdeen marketing agency, and it also marks the start of a new collaboration between Arch 35 Marketing and one of the region’s leading universities.
Angus joins us as part of his academic development, bringing a fresh perspective, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn every part of the marketing process. From day one, he has shown an interest in the strategy behind content creation, social media workflows, and, most importantly for our agency, how SEO is applied in practical, real-world client work. As demand for SEO Aberdeen services continues to grow across the North-East, having additional talent in the office strengthens our ability to support clients with data-driven, localised marketing.
The goal of this placement is simple: to give Angus real experience inside a fast-moving agency environment. He’ll be helping shape content for Arch 35’s own channels, supporting ongoing client work, and contributing ideas to strengthen our SEO processes. Too many placements in the marketing world end up being admin-only; this won’t be one of them. Angus will get hands-on experience with briefs, planning, scheduling, analytics, and learning how a modern Aberdeen marketing agency builds genuinely accountable campaigns.
For Arch 35 Marketing, this placement isn’t just about extra support; it’s about giving local students opportunities that didn’t always exist when we were starting. Building a pipeline of talent in Aberdeen matters to us. We want to show young marketers that there is a clear path to working in the industry without needing to leave the North-East.
We’re delighted to have Angus on board, and we’re looking forward to seeing how he develops over the next 70 hours. If this placement is anything to go by, it will be the first of many partnerships between Arch 35 and the University of Aberdeen.
